Owner: Peggy Sue Moss Logsdon: Type: Egg Basket
This basket belonged to my Grandmother, Edna Lizzie
Bush Rhea. She used it to gather eggs to sell from the chickens she raised.
She started using this basket about the time she and my Granddaddy, Arthur
T. Rhea married in 1906 and used it as long as they lived on their farm in
Canmer, KY or until 1961. She kept her egg money separate from my Granddaddy's
money and did not let him know how much she had nor let him have any, or borrow
any of her money.
